Kyla 72 lbs. – 20″ tall

Kyla is half English retriever and half North American retriever from Clea (one of my retired females) and Monty.

Kyla is a dark red retriever with a large head and stocky build. Her mother, Clea, has the most serene personality I’ve ever seen in a golden retriever. She is so laid-back and relaxed, and would follow me like a shadow, never letting me out of her sight. Like mother, like daughter! Kyla is very calm, never barking or jumping, and she loves being close to us. She never lets us out of her sight. She would rather be by our side than off playing with the other dogs.

She is so gentle, calm, and great with all people, children, and other dogs. She has consistently produced beautiful puppies. I’ve been so happy with her past litters that I kept two pups from her 2016 litter! I kept one for my breeding program and the other one is being trained and donated as a service and seizure response dog for a little boy with cerebral palsy.

Everyone has always been so thrilled with the looks, temperament, and health of the pups she produces. I feel very blessed to have this amazing girl as part of my breeding program and to be able to share her amazing personality with the world through her puppies.

Christmas 65 lbs. – 21″ tall

Christmas is a beautiful English golden retriever, and much like the celebration she was named after, she is full of joy and excitement! She arrived on December 25, which is such a wonderful day to have a litter of puppies. Her parents are Henry, a German import, and Willow, a retriever imported from Ukraine. Both dogs have a long lineage full of champions and health-cleared lines.

As a young retriever, Christmas enjoys racing around the fields and going for hikes with her favorite people or a pack of her canine pals. She is very attentive and loves to please. She will play with you for hours, but also loves to curl up and snuggle, and she loves to give kisses. She makes new friends everywhere she goes, is a fast learner, and is highly intelligent. If she grows up to be anything like her father, Henry, she will be a very compassionate and patient mother to her goldendoodle puppies.

Berlin 75 lbs. – 20″ tall

Berlin is a beautiful English golden retriever, named after the lovely German city I imported her from. Berlin came to SwissRidge when she was eight weeks old, and has an impeccable pedigree with over five generations of health-tested lineage.

She is social, playful, and very affectionate towards everyone she meets. When Berlin is not whelping a litter and looking after puppies at the kennel, she lives with our good friends on a large dairy farm. In this setting, she interacts with many other animals and the family’s five children. The farm is a very busy place, ideal for socializing with new people coming and going all the time. Berlin roams around the farm, greeting everyone, and is always so welcoming to new faces. She is a dog who you can run and have fun with, but she is very relaxed and gentle as well. She absolutely loves being with her family. Whether they are hiking, swimming, fishing, working on the farm, or relaxing in the house, she is never too far away.

Berlin is the ideal family dog, and she has that perfect temperament that everyone requests in a new puppy. She is highly intelligent and has been very easy to train. She continually produces incredible puppies with the same lovely temperament and beauty as her own.

Aria 62 lbs. – 19″ tall

Aria is a beautiful English golden retriever who was bred at SwissRidge. Her parents are Ebony (imported from Belgium) and Monty (our Canadian champion male, who was imported from Spain).

Aria has an amazing, gentle, loving, calm, and sweet personality. She gets along really well with other dogs and any person she encounters. She always has a big smile for us, ready for the next adventure. She is your typical retriever – so proud, prancing around when she has a stick or ball. She loves playing fetch and you will often see her carrying a stick around in her mouth. She loves bringing us treasures that she finds – whether it’s a stick, rock, or ball, she loves to lay them by our feet while she goes off on her next adventure. If we wait long enough, she will bring us a pile of presents!

Aria loves going for pack walks. She is often up ahead inspecting the situation for the other dogs and then returning to check in with us as we walk. In addition to having an amazing personality, she is also a stunning dog. I have researched her lines back over five generations for genetic diseases. Not only are all lines healthy, but she also has a very good pedigree behind her.

Sadie 40 lbs. – 17″ tall

Sadie is a stunning mini English goldendoodle bred at SwissRidge. Her parents are Lights and Eddie. Lights was also bred at our kennel. Her parents are Ebony and Monty, both of whom are impeccable, health-tested European imports. We’ve been breeding Sadie’s lines at our kennel for three generations and are so pleased with each and every litter. Sadie has had a few lovely litters to date, and families have been raving about how amazing they are!

When she isn’t delivering puppies at SwissRidge, Sadie resides with a loving foster family. She is the perfect gem when she comes to visit the kennel. We just love having her here. According to Debbie, Sadie’s foster mother, she is a great combination of independence and companionship. She is friendly and outgoing, and enjoys meeting people and dogs everywhere. She’s not afraid of anything except the vacuum cleaner! She loves car and boat rides, long walks, swimming, digging, and catching the snow. Sadie is like the Energizer Bunny and will keep on going until you stop, but then she settles down. She loves being outside and watching nature around her, but will cuddle on the couch with us too. She likes learning tricks and being the center of attention, but she will also curl up at your feet and fall asleep when there is a conversation going on around her. Her favorite toys are sticks, balls, and a treat-filled Bionic. Sadie is a perfect-sized dog, and looks more retriever than poodle, with thick, dense hair that doesn’t shed.

Meeka 34 lbs. – 17″ tall

Meeka is a mini goldendoodle from Kyla and Stitches’s litter. Kyla was bred at SwissRidge, and her parents are Clea and Monty.

We imported Monty from Spain from one of the most highly sought-after golden retriever lines in the world. He comes from a long line of champions, all of which have been health-tested and cleared. Monty himself is a Canadian champion! Clea is now retired from breeding, but she is such a calm and loyal dog. She is so laid-back and used to follow me around like a shadow. We’ve owned three generations in Meeka’s lines and her puppies will be the fourth. That’s four generations of impeccable heritage with these beautiful dogs!

Meeka is a social butterfly who has not come to terms with being a “grown up.” She will frolic and play like a puppy, which actually makes her a great mother because she’s the greatest source of entertainment for her pups! Although she’s a playful mom, she is also strict when she needs to be. She is very nurturing and patient, and her puppies feed off of her energy. If Meeka had it her way, she would be free to roam in a huge field chasing grasshoppers until the sun set…and then she would switch to fireflies! She will play with absolutely anyone – children, adults, puppies, or large dogs, and preferably in the water!

Meeka has had a few litters to date and I couldn’t be happier with her pups! They are friendly, loving, social, and happy, and have brought joy and laughter to many families!

Gigi 47 lbs. – 19.5″ tall

Gigi is a beautiful mini English goldendoodle. She is a full sister to Dottie and both are from one of Carrie and Crumpet’s litters. I couldn’t be more in love with Gigi! Her coloring is unreal and her coat glistens in the sun when she prances by. Similar to celebrity model Gigi Hadid, our Gigi is quite the model herself. Not only is she extremely photogenic, but she is also calm and patient and will pose for hours! Gigi is a fun-loving dog with a big heart and personality. If you let her, she will sit on your lap all afternoon and enjoy the affection that always comes her way. When it’s time for a walk, Gigi has enough energy and stamina for seven dogs her size! At the kennel, we call her and her sister Dottie the Energizer Bunnies!

Gigi loves to play in the field with her friends Frankie, Suki, Bones, and Dottie. She loves playing Frisbee, going for long hikes on the beautiful SwissRidge trails, and cuddling with her sister. These girls do everything together! Gigi loves life and lives it with a constant smile on her face.

Dottie 40 lbs. – 18″ tall

Dottie is a beautiful mini English goldendoodle from Carrie and Crumpet’s litter. I couldn’t be more in love with Dottie! Her striking appearance and her gentle, sweet nature is a winning combination. She is a pleasure to be around. Dottie and her sister Gigi are known at SwissRidge as the Energizer Bunnies because they can play out in the field or go on a long walk and still have energy to do it all again.

Although very active, Dottie loves to sit with you and receive affection. In return, you get unlimited kisses! Dottie is quite amusing, and can always make you laugh. If you are petting her only using one hand, she will wiggle her way into you to get you to use both hands on her at the same time. She loves to play with toys and chase her friends Gigi, Frankie, Suki, and Bones in the field. She loves to go for long walks on the trails and romp around in the long grass with her sister.

Cedar 65 lbs. – 25.5″ tall

Cedar is a beautiful standard goldendoodle and a fantastic specimen of the breed. She was bred at SwissRidge from two of my favorite dogs – Kyla and Hendrix. I actually loved this litter so much that I also kept a male, trained him as a service and seizure response dog, and donated him to a boy named Sebastian. You can watch our 2016 Doodle Romp video on YouTube to see clips of Sebastian and his new best friend, Ewok.

Everyone is wowed by Cedar’s beautiful, soft, wavy red coat. It is like silk! Her temperament is unbelievably calm and compliant for a puppy, clearly taking after her mother’s side. Kyla is extremely calm, and so was her mother, Clea. She never barked, jumped, or ran too far. When we went for walks with Clea, she heeled right beside us with no leash. She would never wander ahead; she just stayed at our sides no matter what distraction was trying to tempt her.

Even though Cedar is still a puppy, I can see those same calm, gentle, and loving qualities that Kyla and Clea both have. She is so calm that I can lay my head on top of her and use her as a pillow and she will not move! When we go for pack walks, she will run up ahead and lie down while waiting for the rest of the pack. She is so docile and will plunk herself down to relax under a tree or beside her humans whenever she can. Cedar is great with all the other dogs, but her best friends are Bones and Christmas. They roll around and wrestle together during their puppy playtime. Her personality would be the perfect fit for any family. I feel so blessed that she is part of my pack, but I feel even more blessed that I’m able to share her amazing puppies with the world! I know they are going to bless and enrich so many people’s lives.

Sundae 34 lbs. – 18.5″ tall

Sundae is a beautiful small standard poodle. I have always had a difficult time finding poodles from breeders that I would want to add into my breeding program. I seek puppies whose parents have been health-tested for generations, who are well tempered, and who possess the look and structure that are important to better my breeding program. Meeting all of these criteria has been a difficult task. Whenever I thought I found the perfect addition, there was usually a reason I couldn’t add them – either the puppy didn’t pass my strict health testing, their temperament wasn’t just right, or they didn’t grow up to be what I expected. Some may say I’m a bit too selective when adding dogs to my program. I raise a lot of dogs, but only a few actually make the cut.

I finally decided to breed a litter of poodles for myself, keep and raise the puppies, and choose the top dogs out of that litter to breed. I bred two of my most prized poodles – who have everything I look for and love about the poodle breed. It was a great success and 11 amazing puppies where born. I hand-picked some of those pups to raise, one of whom is Sundae. I’m very happy to say that all these pups passed all their health testing. This just proves how amazing the lines are in the horizontal pedigree!

Sundae is quite the little adventurer! She loves going for long walks and is happy to run in any kind of weather. Her beautiful personality shines through her golden coat! She makes friends with just about any dog, but she likes bigger dogs the most. Sundae is a very intelligent poodle and has a quiet authority about her. She helps the pack make decisions on where to go and what to do. Overall, she is a very sweet, fun, gentle, loving, and quiet girl. Did I mention she is beautiful? I can’t wait to see the puppies she will produce in the future!
