Moana

103lbs – 24″

Moana is a stunning Bernese from a very good friend of mine who produces very high-quality Bernese. Moana’s lines originate from Europe. Her grandparents are from Belgium on her mother’s side and on her father’s side they originate from France. She has a pedigree stacked full of large, solid, beautiful European Bernese Mountain dogs! Her pedigree is also full of Multi Champions and all dogs in her 5 generations pedigree have been fully health tested and cleared for hips and elbows. Her mother is currently 7 years old (in 2020) and her father is 5 years old (in 2020). Her pedigree seems to have long loved and healthy lines.

Moana is a dog who loves life. She is higher energy for a Bernese. She enjoys going for runs, chasing and wrestling the other dogs. On a hot days, in the summer she has low energy and will relax and pant under a tree. On a cool day and in the winter she will go for a full forest walk and still wants to play when she gets back. She is great with all the other dogs (big and small) and has a really nice, sweet and playful energy about her. She is an easy dog to handle and be around and is very loving and affectionate. She is in heaven while being pet and will lean into us with her Bernese lean!
We just love this energetic goofy ball and I know she is going to produce the most amazing puppies!

Nova

94lbs. – 23.4″ tall

Nova is a very special dog at SwissRidge. I have known dogs in her linage going back 5 generations and over 16 years. Nova’s great grandmother (Nellar) was born at SwissRidge and was out of Daiko, a dog who I imported from Belgium in 2004. He was the most magnificent Bernese and was the gold standard of what every Bernese should act and look like! He was a dog that left an impression and if you met him you would never forget that adorable face and amazing personality! Nellar’s mom Veruschka was imported from Slovakia.  Nova’s great grandfather (Dominque Benoit ) was a French import.
I have been very lucky to have owned some of the most magnificent Bernese over the last 2 decades that are now being mixed into my Bernedoodle lines. Nova’s lines are top quality from some of the best European kennels in the world! All health clearances have been done over 5+ generations back. This pays off because Nova has EXCELLENT hips which is not a common hip score in Bernese! It is very satisfying to know dogs in these lines personally and know that they are solid and healthy dogs!

Nova mostly takes after Nellar and Daiko. I see so many of their qualities shining through in her! Nova is confident, sweet, loving, active and adventurous. She is one of those dogs that is always in a good mood. She is happy to see any person and expresses her love by jumping up and giving a huge hug as she wraps her thick arms around our waist (if you let her). If you tell her “off” she will just bounce up and down almost two feet in the air in front of you trying to contain her excitement!  She loves to run, play, and bounce. She has lots of energy for a Bernese. She loves trail walks and loves to explore the forest on these walks. She is full of adventure and curiosity! On hot summer days her energy level is lower, but in the winter, you see her true character come out. She adores the snow and will roll her body and face in it until she is completely covered head to tail! She is the type of dog that loves everything she has experienced in life and will follow her owner into any situation happily. There is only one thing she doesn’t love and that’s the pool. It’s defiantly her weakness, but she does sit by the edge while she watches us swim. She hasn’t worked up the nerve to go in yet, but we do work every summer getting her use to the water. It is typical for Bernese not to like the water. Nova is very affectionate and isn’t afraid to show her love for her owners. She sits on our feet and leans all her weight into us as we scratch her ears (typical Bernese).

Nova is an amazing mother and takes great care of her puppies and teaches them how to be good dogs. You can see her correct them when need be, and she shows them and guides them how to be kind to one another. They pick up on her confident and kind nature. She tends to produce thick puppies (like herself) with more of a Bernese build.

Kinder
42lbs. – 22″

Kinder is a beautiful, unique coloured f1b Bernedoodle out of Cadbury and Henry. She was bred and raised at SwissRidge. We own both her parents and we also own her grandparents Coco and Crumpet.  We also own many of her aunts and uncles (Hanky, Grommet, Emma, Sundae, Hershey, Annie, Maeve, Ellie, Luxor). It’s so nice to own so many dogs out of the same lines because we know know that all these dogs have passed clearances and we are able to see pretty quickly if these lines produce healthy puppies. From what I have seen I’ve been very impressed with the health and temperaments these lines have produced!

Kinder has the kindest soul! She is easily one of the sweetest, gentle, kind and loving girls we have in the kennel. Not only is she adorably cute, Kinder is a very kind and sensitive girl and feels what you are feeling when you are with her. If you are sad, Kinder can sense this and is a quiet, loving presence. She is never pushy for love, she will just lay on your lap and let you pet her as you please, but lets you know she is there. She is a very gentle dog. She has a soft, gentle, loving, sweet and submissive personality! Kinder is not the kind of dog to rough house with dogs or people. She is a submissive girl who plays with her friends in the yard and gets along with any dog you introduce her to, but she prefers to play gently. She would make an incredible emotional support or therapy dog. Kinder loves being spoken to in a sweet voice and when you do this she squints her eyes, lifts up her lips and smiles while her tail wags uncontrollably. She will then roll over to show you her belly for belly rubs! Kinder is extremely easy going and is willing to do pretty much anything you ask her to do, she loves to please her people. On a pack walk out on the trails, kinder prefers to stay back and walk with the people. She never wonders up ahead or lets us out of her sight. She sticks close to our sides! Kinder’s best friend in the kennel is Ellie. They are two peas in a pod who love to spend every moment of the day together, whether this is having a bath, going for a walk, playing in the yard… and especially cuddling and sleeping on their bed together. Kinder is a great mom to her puppies, keeping them well fed, clean and very loved. I can’t help but think that her extremely kind, sweet and loving nature will pass on to her puppies and make very happy families.

Kinder loves comfort and even though she likes playing in the snow for a short time she would prefer being in a warm environment, curled up on her bed. She is a dog that has unconditional love for her owners and is very loyal. With strangers it may take her some time to get comfortable but eventually she will say Hi and get them to rub her belly.

She is a dog with an extremely easy, sweet and gentle personality!

Neavah
80lbs – 22″ tall

Lucy
20lbs. – 15″ tall

Lucy is an Australian Goldendoodle or some may call her a Double doodle. Her mother is a Goldendoodle and her father is an Australian Labradoodle. Lucy is a very special dog with very special and unique lines. Her lines go back to one of my first Golden Retrievers “Ginger”, who lived to the ripe old age of 17. Ginger always produced the most stunning, intuitive, loving puppies. Just ask any owner that was lucky enough to have one of her pups, grand-pups or great-grand-pups. There is something very special and unique about these lines. Still after 5 generations of having her lines in my kennel I see these same traits coming out in the puppies.

Lucy has that same special and unique character. She is goofy, loving, social and as sweet as they come. She is extremely calm, gentle and loves to relax and snuggle. The thing that makes her so special is she is extremely intuitive. It’s like she understand and knows what you are thinking and feeling at all times. Not only does she know how her humans are feeling but she try’s to interact in her own way whether it is coming to lay her head on your lap and gazing into your eyes or letting out a little whimper or sigh to try and connect. She has great communication skills. Her eyes are almost human like. She is very expressive, nurturing and caring. You can tell that she has a love for her humans above any love that she would have for herself. I have no doubt that the puppies that Lucy produces will be just like the generations before her. Anyone that has a pup from this line will be extremely blessed.

Mia 18 lbs. – 14″ tall

Mia is an incredibly smart girl. You can teach her anything in just a few short training sessions. She is the trick dog of the kennel. She knows how to sit, down, come, touch, up, speak, dance, sit pretty, stay, wave, high five and leave it. She loves to work for food and learn new things. We always say Mia is like a little person in a fur coat. When she looks at you with her big brown eyes it’s like you are looking into a humans soul. She has a very soft, loving and gentle personality with people and loves to be snuggled. The closer she can be to you the better, Being snuggled up on your lap is her favorite place to be.

With other dogs she likes to be the leader of the pack. She is a calm and confident leader to her pack members. She likes things to stay calm and keeps the energy level low when playing with the other dogs.

Mia is the type of dog almost anyone can own. She is perfect in everyway, smart, confident, social and affectionate. You will not be disappointed with one of her pups as they seem to be turning out just like their mom.

Emma 33 lbs. – 20″ tall

Emma is a beautiful small standard poodle, her tri colouring is outstanding! I have always had a difficult time finding poodles from breeders that I would want to add into my breeding program. I seek puppies whose parents have been health-tested for generations, who are well tempered, and who possess the look and structure that are important to better my breeding program. Meeting all of these criteria has been a difficult task. Whenever I thought I found the perfect addition, there was usually a reason I couldn’t add them – either the puppy didn’t pass my strict health testing, their temperament wasn’t just right, or they didn’t grow up to be what I expected. Some may say I’m a bit too selective when adding dogs to my program. I raise a lot of dogs, but only a few actually make the cut.

I finally decided to breed a litter of poodles for myself, keep and raise the puppies, and choose the top dogs out of that litter to breed. I bred two of my most prized poodles – who have everything I look for and love about the poodle breed. It was a great success and 11 amazing puppies where born. I hand-picked some of those pups to raise, one of whom is Emma. I’m happy to announce that all of the pups I kept passed their health testing, which goes to prove how wonderful these lines truly are!

Emma has a very special place in my heart. I adore this beautiful girl. Her coloring is unreal and is everything I’ve been looking for in a poodle. I love the beautiful white blaze on her chest and the dark mahogany coloring that runs up her legs and chest and around her muzzle. She has the coloring of a Bernese, but in a poodle’s body! She is drop-dead gorgeous, and more than I could have ever hoped for.

Not only does she turn heads, but she is also sweet, very playful, entertaining, and loving. She is very kind and loves all the other dogs. There isn’t a mean bone in this girl’s body. She is a clown and a goofy ball of fun. When she’s inside hanging out, she is quiet and well behaved. When she’s outdoors, she lets her energy out and is thrilled to romp around with her friends. She tires more quickly than some of her littermates, and after her initial burst of energy, she loves to be snuggled. She has the ideal disposition in my books!

Cadbury 32 lbs. – 20″ tall

Cadbury is a beautiful small standard poodle, with stunning chocolate and white tri-colored markings. I have always had a difficult time finding poodles from breeders that I would want to add into my breeding program. I seek puppies whose parents have been health-tested for generations, who are well tempered, and who possess the look and structure that are important to better my breeding program. As soon as I laid eyes on Cadbury I thought she was the most stunning poodle puppy I had ever seen. Her coloring was amazing! I wanted to keep her so badly and I was hoping that her temperament matched her beauty! I couldn’t be happier to say that it does – she is captivating. She’s very soft, sweet, and intelligent. We had a training competition at the kennel where all of the employees were given their own dog to train. Cadbury did extremely well, learning sit, down, come, watch me, leave it, and stay very quickly. She is a superstar!

When it comes to playtime, she should have been a retriever because she loves to retrieve her toys and bring them to us. She is a social butterfly and plays so beautifully with all the other dogs. She is very affectionate and loves people, but she also has an independent streak. She is fine being left alone and will keep herself busy for hours playing with her toys. She is a delightful dog and will produce some amazing puppies!

Annie 34 lbs. – 18.5″ tall

Annie is a beautiful small standard poodle. I have always had a difficult time finding poodles from breeders that I would want to add into my breeding program. Annie is curious, affectionate, and fun-loving. She has a great sense of adventure and loves to run and play with all the other dogs, yet you’ll never hear a growl out of her! Although she is very outgoing and playful, she has an overall serene and tender nature. She has the most loving personality towards people, staying nearby while we are out walking and sitting in close proximity for hours at home. She just loves her toys and enjoys prancing around with them in her mouth, as if she just won the jackpot!

Sting 9 lbs. – 12″ tall

Sting is a toy poodle who we imported from Ukraine. His lineage is filled with world-class champions! His lines have been tested many generations back, and he has a solid background in terms of looks, temperament, and health. He is outgoing and very social.

You know when you’ve met Sting when you’re greeted with enthusiasm, excitement, and lots and lots of kisses! He practically jumps out of his skin to say hello! He is a total heartthrob and you can’t help but return the affection to him. He loves sitting on my lap and snuggling while at the same time showering me with hundreds of kisses. He’s bouncy and playful and loves hanging out with his best friends – Crumpet, Loki, and Levi. Yes…that’s four intact males getting along like one big happy family!

Sting loves to be surrounded by people, but also enjoys romping with the other dogs in the kennel. He gets along so well with everyone – big, small, old, young…he loves them all! Sting has been my main stud for mini goldendoodles for almost a decade. Just ask the families that have two or even three of his pups how amazing they are! Sting’s puppies are unbelievably cute, affectionate, and smart, and are simply amazing family dogs.
