Tallulah is a third-generation Standard Poodle born right here at SwissRidge! She is out of Sedona and Grommet, and I also own her grandparents, Coco and Crumpet, along with many of her aunts and uncles. In fact, from Tallulah’s litter I decided to keep four sisters—Freya, Petunia, Tallulah, and Leida. Like all of my breeding dogs, Tallulah’s entire family line has gone through thorough health testing, which you can view on their individual pages on my website.
Tallulah is the sweetest, most affectionate and confident dog. Fun is her middle name. Tallulah is the type to roughhouse in the yard and is usually the first to roll over and show her belly, a clear sign of her sweet, submissive nature. She gets along with everyone and wants to please both dogs and people alike. .
Tallulah is goofy and bouncy, and she loves toys and playing with the smaller dogs. She is very smart, highly food-motivated, and loves training. When the treats come out, she often starts performing tricks before being asked, hoping to earn her reward faster. She is such a little ham!
Tallulah also has a very motherly side. Even when she doesn’t have puppies of her own, she likes to watch over the smaller dogs, keeping an eye on things to make sure everyone is happy. It’s common to find her licking her friends and grooming them. She’s affectionate and loving, and often prefers to sit by my side in the play yard, watching over the others, rather than being in the middle of the action.
When she does have puppies, Tallulah is such a devoted mom. Every time I feed her pups, she insists on sitting on my lap or curling between my legs to soak up her share of love and attention too. That’s just who she is—gentle, nurturing, and people-oriented.
Tallulah is the type of dog who could fit beautifully into any family, whether young or old. She has such a kind, affectionate nature and has already produced some wonderful puppies that reflect her temperament.
Tallulah has been fully health tested, and her health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
