Sage

Sage is a friendly, loving, social, sweet, and playful pup, closely resembling and often mistaken for a stuffed animal as I carry her into new experiences. She comes to life when given the opportunity to roam on her own feet and enters a room or interaction with excitement, becoming more focused and curious of her surroundings as that initial excitement dies down within a brief period of time.  She is an external pup so patience and stability is her biggest challenge but she always puts 110% into learning, especially when food is involved. She has great food drive and equally loves the interaction she receives through training itself as it is both fun and rewarding. She is confident and approaches new places and people with a positive outlook, happy to explore and see what others have to offer. She has good engagement in busy environments and is able to train and hold a nice walking position while being mildly distracted by her surroundings.
She is gradually settling into a crate routine and becoming comfortable with independence and being confined to her own space without company. She is happy to work on a bone whether it be the car, the crate or the placemat, keeping her occupied for increasing periods of time as we rehearse low arousal activities.
All in all Sage is the sweetest girl and would suit a variety of households. She would be best for a family who wanted a moderately active, social and sweet puppy.
