Rooney

Male Mini Bernedoodle - 4 months training

Born: April 4, 2026

Colour: Tri

Rooney is a mini Bernedoodle (he will be on the smaller end – around 25lbs give or take)! He is currently enrolled in our imprinting program and is learning the commands sit, down, come, stay, leave it, watch me, place, and loose-leash walking (see video below). He is also learning puppy manners, as well as house and crate training. Our trainers work on handling exercises with the puppies and help them become comfortable with grooming.

Rooney is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, and comes with a 2-year health guarantee. Both of his parents have completed all required health clearances.

While Rooney is in training, you will receive weekly updates from his trainers. At the end of the program, you will receive a final report, a training schedule, and training videos demonstrating everything he has learned. You will also receive an in-depth training course designed for owners. This course teaches you how your puppy was trained and how to maintain and build upon the skills he has learned. The course is valued at $1,350 and is only included with puppies enrolled in our training program. It is sold separately for all other puppies.

Here is information about Rooney’s personality from his trainer:

Rooney is one of those puppies that could walk into any family and completely steal their hearts. He has a personality ten times his size. He is such a happy, loving, social, fun and easy going puppy! His personality is perfect in every way! He wakes up every day ready to love everyone around him and wants to be a part of whatever you’re doing. Whether you’re going on an adventure, heading out in the car, playing outside or just relaxing at home, Rooney is happy as long as he gets to be by your side.

He is the most affectionate little pup and LOVES all people. He is the type of dog that wants to be involved with the family and makes you feel like you’re the most important person in his world. He loves cuddles, loves attention and seems happiest when he is surrounded by the people. His friendly personality extends to everyone he meets, both people and dogs, and he is always happy to make a new friend.

What I really love about Rooney, though, is how balanced he is. As much as he loves being involved and having fun, he also has a wonderful ability to settle and relax. When it’s time to do nothing, he is perfectly content doing nothing. He doesn’t constantly need to be entertained and is extremely easygoing within his normal routine. He follows what is expected of him without complaining and has shown so much maturity for such a young puppy.

He is also a VERY smart little guy. He picks up on patterns and routines quickly and seems to understand very quickly what is expected of him. He has done amazingly well with his stability work in training and can hold his stays and place command for an impressive amount of time for his age. He isn’t necessarily a puppy who wants to rehearse the same command over and over again, so keeping his training sessions short, fun and exciting works really well for him. He catches on so quickly that he really doesn’t need endless repetition.

Rooney is also very confident in every situation I take him into. He walks into new environments and just seems to take everything in stride. Even when there is a lot going on around him, he follows along in a collected manner and looks to his handler for direction. He has been exposed to all kinds of different environments and situations and has shown us that he is a very adaptable little puppy.

I love everything about this boy. He is sweet, cuddly, social, confident, smart, playful and very people-oriented, but he also has that off switch where he can settle down and just enjoy being with you.

I really think Rooney could fit beautifully into almost ANY type of family. He could be happy with an active family that wants to take him along on adventures, but he would be just as happy with a family that enjoys spending more time at home and wants a loving companion curled up beside them. He could fit into a home with other dogs or be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention himself.

He is just one of those really special, easy-to-love puppies. The type that becomes your little shadow, your adventure buddy, your cuddle buddy and such a huge part of the family. Whoever ends up with Rooney is going to be very lucky because he truly is the BEST little puppy.
