Reggie

Reggie is currently in our 4 months training program. Through our imprint training program, he is learning his basic commands, including sit, down, come, stay, leave it, watch me, and place. He will be crate trained and well on his way to being house trained.

Reggie will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and will come with a 2-year health guarantee.

Reggie has a beautiful temperament and the best personality, with his fun, outgoing, affectionate qualities also comes the sweetest most loving pup that craves every bit of your attention! He is a pup that seems to go into new interactions, experiences and environments with an open mind and an eagerness to explore and smell absolutely everything. Reggie has so far been happy to meet new people, and is learning which behaviours are appropriate and will get him the attention he desires. Reggie steals the attention of people in passing with his sweet face and excitable butt wiggle, he wants to say hello to everyone! Reggie enjoys a slow relaxing moment of quality time with the people he knows, he has a moderate energy and that shows within the house. You will often find Reggie laying by your feet or occupying himself with a yummy bone, it does not take much to keep him entertained as long as he knows where his toys, bones and bed are he will happily entertain himself. His more energetic side comes out when he is free within the yard, he loves to engage in playtime with his imprinting friends and my older dog as well and is learning good boundaries. Watching him chase after his friends in the yard is the cutest thing. When it comes to training, he is smart and eager to learn. He picks up new commands quickly and is responsive to positive reinforcement, making training a rewarding experience for the both of us. He is a bit of a busy minded boy and can quickly become distracted but with lots of encouragement and motivation he pulls his focus back to me. He benefits from multiple shorter training sessions through out the day to really get him excited and keep him wanting more. He already knows his sit, down and we are having fun training in public spaces around distractions!

Reggie is a sweet boy, the perfect combination of calm, and a bit goofy. If you’re looking for an affectionate companion with a fun personality and good energy that can keep up but also slow down at the perfect time, Reggie would be the perfect pup! I think he would be best suited for a family or individual with the time to help him build on his training and positive behaviours, whether in a quiet suburb or an active neighbourhood he would fit right in!
