Jester

Jester is a Mini Australian Bernedoodle! He is currently enrolled in our imprinting program and is learning the commands sit, down, come, stay, leave it, watch me, place, and loose-leash walking (see video below). He is also learning puppy manners, as well as house and crate training. Our trainers work on handling exercises with all of our puppies to help them become comfortable with grooming, nail trims, and everyday handling.

Jester is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, and comes with a 2-year health guarantee. Both of his parents have completed all required health clearances.

While Jester is in training, you will receive weekly updates from his trainer. At the end of the program, you will receive a final report, a training schedule, and training videos demonstrating everything he has learned. You will also receive access to our in-depth online training course designed specifically for owners. This course teaches you how your puppy was trained and how to maintain and build upon the skills he has learned once he comes home. The course is valued at $1,350 and is included in Jesters purchase price. It is sold separately for all other puppies.

Jester is a fun-loving, social, and outgoing pup with a big personality. He loves being involved in everything that is going on and approaches every new person with confidence and excitement. He has a happy-go-lucky attitude, and it’s hard not to smile when you’re around him. While he does have a higher energy level, he is doing an excellent job learning how to channel that energy into positive behaviours. With guidance and structure, he is more than capable of settling down and relaxing, especially when encouraged to enjoy independent activities or quiet downtime like chewing on a bone or practicing the place command.

Jester is very social with both people and other dogs. He enjoys playing with dogs of all ages and sizes, but if given the choice, he will almost always choose to spend time with his people. He forms bonds quickly, loves attention, and thrives on being included in family activities. He is the type of puppy who wants to be right by your side, whether you’re out on an adventure or relaxing at home.

Training has been a lot of fun with Jester. He is very food motivated, eager to please, and enjoys learning. He catches on quickly and is a smart little guy who loves figuring out how to earn his rewards. His biggest challenge isn’t understanding what is being asked of him, it’s managing his excitement during training sessions. As he continues to mature and build more stability, his focus and self-control continue to improve every day.

Jester is doing well with his crate training. He may let you know if something exciting is happening around him because he loves being part of the action, but otherwise he settles nicely and is quiet in his crate. He is also doing great with his potty training and has been wonderful in the car, happily chewing on a bone or curling up for a nap after outings.

Overall, Jester is an affectionate, confident, and enthusiastic puppy who would thrive in just about any home willing to provide him with continued structure, training, and plenty of love. He would also do great with a calm, laid-back dog who can help balance his playful energy while giving him a great canine companion to play with.
