Ohana was bred and raised here at SwissRidge Kennels, and from the moment she was born, I knew she was something special. Her parents, Zeppelin and Bones, are both incredible dogs who have consistently produced wonderful puppies for our families, so I was excited to keep a puppy from this pairing for my own program. I could not be happier that I chose Ohana.
Her name, Ohana, means “family” in Hawaiian, and she embodies that word in every way. She has slipped into the SwissRidge family so naturally that it is hard to imagine life without her. She has the bubbliest, fun, outgoing, playful, loving and social personality! She is a dog who wants to be everyone’s best friend. All it takes is a glance in her direction and she will be in your lap showering you with affection. She is not the type to give her love to just one person. Her heart is big enough for everyone.
Ohana is also a very social and active girl. She thrives on being part of the action and is always ready for an adventure. Whether it is a long walk, a romp in the yard, or just being part of whatever you are doing, she wants to be included and never left behind. She gets along beautifully with other dogs as well. I can put her into any playgroup and she fits right in as if she has always been there. Despite her smaller size, she has a touch of sass and will stand her ground if needed, but she is always respectful and fair with her playmates. She is confident without being pushy, social without being overwhelming, and playful without ever losing her sweetness.
What I love most about Ohana is the way she makes everyone feel special. She has that rare quality of making every single person she meets believe they are her favorite. She is the sweetest girl, and her presence lights up a room.
Ohana has been fully health tested, and her health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
Ohana has consistently produced the most amazing puppies in both look and temperament, a true reflection of the wonderful dog that she is.
