Kola is one of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. He is the perfect dog inside and out. Kola is currently living with a foster family, and this is what they have to say about him:

“Kola is the definition of sweet and lovable. He is one of those dogs who makes life feel easier just by being around. At home, he is relaxed, calm, and happy to snuggle up close. His favorite pastime is cuddling, and he is always looking for opportunities to curl up beside you or lay his head on your lap. He has a way of melting into your arms as if he was made to be a little shadow of love. He has his own spot in our bed even though the rule was “no dogs in bed” when he first arrived.

Kola absolutely adores people and greets everyone as if they were his best friend. He is the type of dog who would happily trot off with a complete stranger, tail wagging, because he truly believes the world is full of friends he has not yet met. His social and gentle nature makes him easy to bring with us wherever we go. He loves everyone but has a soft spot for children. He loves following them around and is patient, gentle, and loving.

One of Kola’s funniest quirks is how much he loves food and how he insists on curling up in the back car seat as if he were a baby. He thinks he belongs there. When it comes to treats, he seems to have a sixth sense and always knows exactly where they are kept and has perfected the art of giving those irresistible puppy dog eyes until he gets one.

But the best thing about Kola is his affectionate and loyal side. When you are not feeling well, he will not leave your side, staying close all day and night as if to say, “I love you.” He is the perfect comfort buddy, is our best friend and has been more then we could ever ask for in a dog. He is the love of our lives and we could not imagine life without this cutie.”
