Jade is the very picture of what you imagine when you think of the perfect Bernese Mountain Dog. Regal, composed, and gentle, she carries herself with quiet confidence and has endless love to give. She is calm in everything she does, never rushing into situations but instead she always sits back and thinks before she does. She has a serene nature and soulful eyes, she has all the qualities people adore in the breed—loving, dependable, and endlessly loyal. She adores her people above all else, and while she isn’t the type to bound up to strangers, she is always happy to follow the lead of those she trusts. If her family welcomes someone new, Jade will gladly go along, showing her reserved but kindhearted spirit.

Like so many Bernese, Jade has an deep love and devotion to her family. She is happiest simply being by the side of the people she loves, whether stretched out at their feet or quietly shadowing them from room to room. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention to feel fulfilled. Her joy comes from quiet companionship. She blends so easily into daily life that you almost forget she’s there. Jade is also very intuitive. She seems to sense when you need comfort or a nudge of encouragement.

Jade is very easygoing. She has never been a jumper, a barker, or a troublemaker. Instead, she is one of those rare dogs who was simply “born good.” Training her has never been difficult because her nature is rooted in a desire to please. She is perfectly content with a calm, relaxed lifestyle. Lounging is her specialty – whether curling up in a cozy spot for an afternoon nap or sitting quietly to observe the world. True to her Bernese roots, Jade’s patient and gentle demeanor makes her a joy to be around.
