Jackson is an Australian Labradoodle (ALD) who came to us from a highly respected breeder in the United States. Out of a litter of six, we hand-picked Jackson and flew him back to Canada, and he quickly stole a few hearts on that flight home. He also carries a special family connection as his grandfather is the father of our beloved Levi. Having been thrilled with every litter Levi has ever produced, I’m equally excited to see Jackson follow in his footsteps and carry on these incredible lines.

Jackson is an active, happy, and loyal dog with a big, fun-loving personality. He adores people and has a goofy side that makes him endlessly entertaining. Energetic and driven, he thrives in training sessions. He is always engaged, focused, and eager to learn. Nothing about him is lazy; he’s the kind of dog who wants to work with you, and you can teach him just about anything. He especially loves his off-leash runs across the fields on our property, bounding with joy and confidence. What makes him such an ideal companion, though, is his balanced personality. While he is energetic outdoors, he knows how to relax once he’s inside. This ability to switch gears and settle is exactly what I look for in all of my dogs.

Social and easygoing, Jackson gets along beautifully with every dog in the kennel, including all the other intact males. He’s playful, good-natured, and never one to stir up trouble. He does, however, have a few quirks that make him uniquely Jackson. His favorite pastime is finding a puddle and plopping himself right in the middle of it, which certainly doesn’t help us keep him clean! And he has a silly little habit we call “story time”—he loves to blow air in our ears, almost as if he’s telling us stories.

On top of his wonderful personality, Jackson is handsome boy. He has a well-proportioned frame, a soft, beautiful coat, and one of the cutest faces you could imagine. His coloring is absolutely stunning, and he passes on both his looks and his temperament to his puppies. The litters he has produced so far have been outstanding, and I’m excited to see him continue to follow in Levi’s footsteps by producing healthy, beautiful pups with incredible personalities.

It’s worth noting that when Jackson is paired with a Bernese, his puppies tend to have a very solid, stocky build, often resembling the Bernese in structure. They are generally larger than Levi’s pups, typically ranging from 45–75 lbs, with most maturing in the 55–65 lbs range. Families who bring home a Jackson pup can expect a well-balanced, intelligent, and affectionate pup that is absolutely stunning!

Jackson has been fully health tested, and his health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
