Greta was bred here at SwissRidge. She is the daughter of Ayhoka and Sully. Greta is the type of dog that wows everyone she meets, both with her looks as well as her gentle and loving energy she carries into every scene and interaction. 

Greta is low maintenance and naturally easygoing. She has a calm and relaxed demeanor most of the time, with just the right bursts of playful energy to keep life fun. She lights up at the mention of a walk or when given the chance to play with other dogs. Whether they’re old friends or complete strangers, she treats every dog as if they’ve always been part of her pack. At home, her manners are impeccable. She is a rule follower, listens in most situations, and adapts beautifully even when life throws in unexpected changes. Long car rides, week-long trips, or simply a change in schedule, Gretta takes it all in stride, happy to be part of the adventure.

Greta forms very deep bonds with the people she trusts. She loves to be close and affectionate, happily curling up by your side, but she’s just as content to relax on her own in her favorite cozy spot around the house. Her mellow nature does come with a touch of stubbornness, with her favorite command being “stay”—partly because it lets her relax in one position! But when she’s feeling energetic, she has the perfect balance of enthusiasm for learning and calmness for teaching.

Everything about Greta is peaceful and warm; she asks for nothing more than to simply be by your side, and in return, she gives the truest meaning to the phrase “a man’s best friend.” She greets people politely, often sitting sweetly for attention or snuggling right in. She thrives in quieter, less chaotic environments and would always choose a long trail walk over a bustling city. Off-leash, she loves the freedom to run and let her goofy side shine through. Greta loves all dogs no matter what their energy. She is playful and lively with those who invite her energy, yet calm and respectful with more reserved dogs. She is incredibly intuitive, with a gift for “reading the room” and knowing just how to respond in any situation. All in all, Greta has one of the sweetest, most easygoing personalities, and I couldn’t be more excited to share her wonderful puppies with the SwissRidge family.

Greta has been fully health tested, and her health certificates are attached for your review. She has also been screened through Embark for over 250 genetic health conditions. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
