Bodhi was bred and raised right here at SwissRidge! He is an Australian Bernedoodle out of Ellie and Jackson, and the grandson of Pandora and Crumpet. His grandmother, Pandora, was bred at our kennel, as was her mother Nellar, Bodhi’s great-grandmother. We even owned his great-great-grandparents, Veruschka and Daiko. Daiko was the second male Bernese I ever owned and was imported from Belgium. I am personally familiar with Bodhi’s lineage going five generations back on his mother’s side.

Bodhi’s grandfather Crumpet has more than proven himself over the years, producing fun, confident, playful, and incredibly healthy pups since 2015. Many of his offspring have been kept for our breeding program. Jackson, Bodhi’s father, is known for producing some of the most stunning puppies to ever come out of our kennel, and Bodhi is absolutely following in his footsteps.

Bodhi truly has it all, and that is no accident. He is a combination of some of my finest and favorite dogs from the past 20 years. I have personally health tested every dog in his pedigree going back five generations, ensuring each one meets the highest SwissRidge standards. Bodhi himself has been DNA tested through Embark for over 270 health-related conditions, in addition to undergoing a full series of other evaluations including X-rays and thorough physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian (see certificates below). Because I know these lines so well, I also know the type of longevity, appearance, and temperament they consistently produce.

Physically, Bodhi takes after his mother and grandmother. He is short but thick in build. When it comes to personality, he is a copy and paste of his dad Jackson. Bodhi is active, confident, happy, and full of fun. While he has higher energy, he maintains a perfect balance. He is always up for adventure but just as happy to relax afterward. He loves playing fetch, going on pack walks, and being involved in whatever his people are doing. His adaptable nature means he will always give his best effort at anything you ask of him.

Bodhi gets along with every dog he meets, whether big or small. The same goes for people. He absolutely loves everyone. He gets so excited to see his human friends that he tap dances with joy until he gets a snuggle or a hug.
If Bodhi were human, he would probably be a rugby player. He is strong, sturdy, a little clumsy, and not afraid to get dirty. This usually happens right after a fresh groom. He loves rolling in the mud and getting messy. It is just part of his charm.
I call him “King Bodhi” because he truly produces some of the finest and most stunning puppies coming out of our program. They are not only beautiful and total head turners, but they have happy, confident temperaments to match.

I am so proud of the dog Bodhi has become and how he is continuing the legacy of excellence in our program. These lines are still going strong after five generations and more than 20 years, and I could not be more excited about what the future holds.

Bodhi has been fully health tested, and his health certificates are attached for your review. He has also been screened through Embark for over 250 genetic health conditions. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
