Betty is an active, social, and loving Bernese Mountain Dog proudly bred and raised at SwissRidge. She is out of Isla and Odin (visit their pages to see more).

This particular litter produced six females and we were so impressed that we kept all six for our breeding program, each sister passing their health clearances which shows strength and soundness of their genetics, both in their vertical and horizontal pedigree.

Betty is the definition of joy and energy. She has a zest for life, a confident nature, and a heart full of love. She thrives on both physical activity and mental stimulation for fulfillment.

Those who know and work with her describe her as “extremely sweet and fun-loving, with a wild child soul. She has a big personality and isn’t afraid to show it—like a bull in a China shop.”

Betty is a social butterfly and a friend to everyone she crosses paths with. Whether you seek it out or not she will offer her undivided attention to those around her. From the time she was a puppy, she stood out as the most confident of the litter, always the first to run up for attention and affection. She is a dog who loves everyone.

She adores other dogs and welcomes new additions to the pack with open paws. She naturally engages with dogs of all energy and temperaments to ensure each feels included and takes pride in being that warm and welcoming presence.

Betty’s past pups have been absolutely magnificent, and I love sharing her exuberant, fun-loving personality with my clients through them.

Betty has been fully health tested, and her health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
