Benny 25 lbs. – 15″ tall

Benny is a SwissRidge Doodle out of Lucy and Mcgregor. He lived with his trainer for the first year of his life and this is how is trainer describes him.

Benny is the most charming SwissRidge Doodle! He is sweet, loving, affectionate, loyal, quirky and oh so loveable.

He forever radiates happiness and pure joy.  He is delighted for everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in life – waking up in the morning, getting a hug, giving a hug, receiving a treat, belly rubs or going for a walk – Benny is thrilled with it all!

Even his walk oozes happiness! He prances so cheerfully and elegantly, as if he is walking on air. It’s not a surprise that he turns heads on our walks. He has become a fan favourite in my neighborhood.

Benny will do anything that I ask of him, no treat involved! He simply wants to please and interact – relationships are of the utmost importance to him. I so love this about him! This is why he has stolen a piece of my heart.

Benny also entertains. He went through a phase where he was creating music with his voice and a squeaky chicken. He would do this in his crate while relaxing. He would squeeze the chicken to make it squeak several times, then pause so that he could vocalize the most adorable little howls I had ever heard. He would go back and forth between the chicken and the howls several times, and once he appeared to be satisfied with his musical session, he would stop and proceed with enjoying his dental stick that he had set aside prior to his creative session.

Benny has been an incredibly sweet addition to my household for a wonderful year. He has loved and entertained me from the first moment I brought him home. I may be a bit biased here, but I think that he is the perfect Swissridge stud – gorgeous, smart, bubbly, delightful, friendly and loyal! All qualities that I know will be much appreciated by the Swissridge community.

Hammy 8.5lbs. – 12″ tall

Hammy is a stunning toy poodle who was imported from Europe. He was bred by one of the most impressive Toy Poodle breeders! I have a few dogs from this breeder, and I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of her dogs and the quality of pups that they produce!
Hammy’s lines are full of Champions on both his mother and father’s side. His father is JCH Russia, CH Russia, RKF, Eurasia, Champion of the breed “Golden Collar” 2016, 2017,2019. Pictures of his father are attached in the slider so you can get a sense of the lines he comes from and how well bred he is.
Not only is Hammy a well bred and stunning poodle, but he is also healthy, has passed all his health clearances (see attached) and he has the most amazing temperament.
He is not your typical Toy Poodle which is usually described as hyper and yappy. Hammy is the opposite. He is quiet, sweet, affectionate, cuddly, calm and loves to snuggle up in our laps for lots of love.
Hammy has the sweetest personality you will ever meet. He is amazing with all the other kennel dogs and adores all people. He has a sensitive side and will always submit to all the other dogs. He doesn’t like any sort of confrontation. He will gently give up his toys to both dogs and humans and is always the last dog to eat in his group. He is very patient. He loves to give kisses both to humans and all his dog friends. He is the type of dog that wants to be everyone’s friend. He loves belly rubs and loves to go for off leash walks. He does play around with the other dogs but would much prefer to snuggle with his humans. He doesn’t love the snow or to get his feet dirty. He loves to stay clean; he loves his baths and soaks up every ounce of attention from the groomer during his 4-week trims! Cuddle time and groom time are his favorite.
In general, Hammy has an extremely sweet personality. He has a very balanced temperament. He is everything I love to see in my breeding dogs. I’m excited to share his personality traits with owners of his pups!

Huxley 100lbs. – 27″ tall

 

Huxley was bred at SwissRidge kennels. His parents are Nevaeh and Odin. He is a great mix between both of them!

Huxley lived with one of our imprint trainers for the first year of his life and this is what she has to say about his personality!
Huxley is a strikingly good-looking, very smart and silly boy! He is stubborn but oh so incredibly sweet and loyal, basically a huge Velcro strip stuck to my Lulu tights on most days. In the home he is laid back, bordering on lazy, preferring to mostly lounge closet by, but also willing to partake in a leisurely walk anytime the leash is in my hand – emphasis on leisurely!!! He definitely has FOMO which trumps the lazy gene hahaha!

Huxley loves attention, especially when the attention giver is willing to rub and scratch. He is VERY affectionate, cuddly and loves to be hugged. He also firmly believes that he is a lap dog, and is happy to demonstrate that belief whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Huxley also prioritizes food. Any food is good food to Huxley. And, the more of it, the better.

He will do absolutely anything I ask of him, especially when there is a delicious treat involved. He has his priorities in order, that one.

Huxley is also incredibly brainy and observant. As soon as he grew enough to be able to reach the fridge water dispenser with his paw, he began using it for a convenient refreshment anytime he was in the mood. I guess he didn’t feel the water served in his bowl was refreshing enough!

Huxley has been entertaining me with his goofy and sweet personality and temperament from the first day I brought him home. I adore him so much and I am so excited that he will be able to share his gorgeous looks, incredible temperament, and hilarious personality with the Swissridge community!

Lambo lbs. – ” tall

 

Lambo is a sweet, gentle and stunning Bernese Mountain dog! We actually  changed his name a few times after he arrived. It was hard to find the perfect name for him. I wanted someone unique and luxurious just like I knew he would grow up to be. Finally after about 3 weeks of going back and forth between names we settled on Lamborghini AKA Lambo for short!
Lamborghini produces some of the finest and more luxurious cars and so far Lambo hasn’t fallen short. He has produced some stunning litters of puppies.

When first arriving to SwissRidge after his time spent in training, Lambo was the most chill, laid back 8 month old puppy, to the point that we where worried that he may have not been feeling well. But to this day that is just Lambo.  Lambo is a very relaxed and chill guy. He loves to go out in the yard and play with his buddies – especially chasing Ford around the yard. Lambo and Huxley are best buds and are always so excited when they are reunite to go out to play. They often start wrestling in the hallway before we even get them outside. Lambo loves to be outdoors, whether this is going for pack walks with his friends or laying in the yard under the trees but is equally as happy to come inside and have a nap. This guy loves to sleep. We often see him on his bed in all sorts of sleeping positions. Lambo is a big and beautiful boy. Alike most Bernese mountain dogs, Lambo sometimes forgets truly how big he is and stands on your toes, sits on your feet or jumps up to give you a big bear bug. He loves to be loved but he also has an independent side. He loves to be with people but is not constantly seeking out attention which I find to be a great attribute to help combat the separation anxiety trait that some dogs can have. If I had to pick some words that sum up Lambo’s personality “gentle giant” is the first thing that comes to mind.

Bodhi
41lbs. – 19.5″tall

 

Bodhi was bred and raised by us! He is an Australian Bernedoodle out of Ellie and Jackson, grandson to Pandora and Crumpet. Bodhi’s grandmother, Pandora was bred at our kennel and so was Bodhi’s great grandmother (Nellar). We also owned his great great Grandparents Verushcka and Daiko. Daiko was the 2nd male Bernese I owned, who I imported from Belgium. I’m personally familiar with Bodhi’s lines 5 generations back on his mothers side. Bohdi’s grandfather Crumpet has proven himself in producing amazing, fun, confident, playful and healthy pups at our kennel since 2015. He has sired many pups that I have kept back for my breeding program. Jackson, Bodhi’s father, produces some of the most show stopping puppies coming out of our kennel!

Bodhi has it all mainly because I have known these lines so well over the last 20+ years. He is a mixture of some of my finest and favorite dogs over the last 20 years. I know the longevity, look and temperament that these lines produce. I have personally health tested every one of these dogs going back 5 generations making sure that each one passes the highest quality standards that SwissRidge sets!

Bodhi has the body type of his mother and grandmother, short but thick and the personality of his father Jackson. Bodhi is like a copy and paste of Jackson where personality is concerned. Bodhi is an active, confident, happy and fun dog. Although higher on the energy scale, Bodhi is a dog who is happy to go out and exercise and then come in and relax. Bodhi loves playing fetch with a ball and going for pack walks. He has a very adaptable personality and will adjust to whatever his owners are doing. We are excited to introduce him to swimming this summer as he is the kind of guy that will give anything a try. Bodhi gets along with every dog, big or small, even intact males. This also follows true for people, he gets along with everyone he meets and gets so excited to see his human friends that he tap dances until he gets a snuggle or a hug. If Bodhi were a human, he would be a good candidate for a rugby player, he sometimes is like a bull in a China shop and loves to get a little dirty once in a while… usually after a fresh groom. In the kennel Bodhi lives with Mochi and Hammy. Although about five times their size, he loves to snuggle with them, usually allowing them to snuggle into him or on top of him, almost like he thinks he is the same size as them.

I’m excited to see what the future holds for this guy in our breeding program and keep these lines going strong after 5 generations and 20+ years!
