Cody is a Standard Bernedoodle out of Lola and Sully. He is currently in our imprinting program and is learning the commands: sit, down, come, stay, leave it, watch me, place and walking on a leash. He is learning puppy manners, house and crate training! The trainers also do handling exercises with the puppies and get them used to grooming. He is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and comes with a 2 year health guarantee. Both his parents have all their required health clearances which can be viewed on our website.
You will receive weekly updates while your puppy is in training. At the end of training you will receive a final report, with a schedule, along with training videos showing everything your puppy has learned. You will also receive an in-depth training course for yourself. This way you can learn how your puppy was taught and keep up the in-depth training they have received. This course is valued at $1350 and is only included with our pups that come with training. It is sold as a separate package with all other pups!
Here is information about Cody’s personality from the trainer!
Personality
Cody is the definition of a cuddly companion. He thrives on physical contact and always seems to find a way to stay close, whether it’s leaning on you, touching you with his paw, or curling up nearby. He’s an active pup who loves to follow his person around like a shadow, always ready to join in on whatever you’re doing. Cody adores people and forms deep, intuitive bonds, making him the perfect best friend for someone who values constant companionship. While he’s very playful and joyful, Cody responds well to direction, quickly settling on a leash, placemat, or with a bone after a good play session outdoors. His loving and attentive nature will make him an amazing companion to just about any family!
Socialization
Cody is a confident pup who handles bustling environments with ease. He has visited plazas, busy streets, and large crowds, showing calmness and assurance in all situations. While he’s happy to greet strangers with a few moments of polite acceptance, Cody’s focus is always on his person, returning to their side shortly after being petted. This quality of attentiveness to his handler makes him naturally responsive to commands in public settings.
Cody has shown great manners around my cats, ignoring them entirely, and he is wonderful with children, maintaining a calm demeanor during interactions. When it comes to other dogs, Cody enjoys playful moments but prefers spending time with humans, solidifying his reputation as a people-focused pup.
Crate Training
Cody is still adjusting to his crate and can be vocal when first placed inside. Cody should improve in this area as the training progresses. He is a pup who might test his owner in this area when he first goes home.
Training
Cody is a smart, eager-to-please pup with a strong motivation for treats, which makes training both fun and productive. He is currently learning commands such as sit, down, stay, place, leave it, and watch me. His willingness to try new things and his natural focus on his handler give him an excellent foundation for continued success in obedience training.
Overall, Cody is an intuitive, loving, and loyal pup who forms strong bonds with his people. His mix of energy, affection, and focus makes him a fantastic companion for someone looking for a best friend who will always be by their side. Whether he’s joining you on adventures or relaxing at home, Cody’s will bring so much joy to someone’s life!
