Astrid is a SwissRidge Doodle out of Hattie and Bodhi. She is currently in our imprinting program and is learning the commands: sit, down, come, stay, leave it, watch me, place and walking on a leash. She is learning puppy manners, house and crate training! The trainers also do handling exercises with the puppies and get them used to grooming. She is microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and comes with a 2 year health guarantee. Both her parents have all their required health clearances which can be viewed on our website.
You will receive weekly updates while your puppy is in training. At the end of training you will receive a final report, with a schedule, along with training videos showing everything your puppy has learned. You will also receive an in-depth training course for yourself. This way you can learn how your puppy was taught and keep up the in-depth training they have received. This course is valued at $1350 and is only included with our pups that come with training. It is sold as a separate package with all other pups!
Here is information about Astrid’s personality from the trainer! Astrid is a playful and inquisitive pup who loves exploring the world. She has a medium energy level indoors but comes alive outside, ready for adventure. She has a bubbly and playful personality and loves to interact with toys and balls. While she enjoys affection, she prefers to decide when it’s cuddle time. Astrid may take a few moments to warm up to new people, often keeping her distance at first. However, with a bit of patience (and a few tasty treats), she’ll happily accept attention from those she trusts. In public, Astrid is confident and enjoys outings to stores and walks in different environments. She isn’t fazed by sudden sounds but prefers not to be approached by strangers. With other dogs, she’s friendly and social, though she has prey drive and would do best in a home without cats. She absolutely adores children, eagerly covering them in kisses whenever she gets the chance!
Astrid is highly food-motivated, with a special love for liver treats. She takes a bit longer to pick up new commands, but with consistency and the right rewards, she makes steady progress. She’s generally quiet in her crate. Overall, Astrid is a fun-loving, affectionate, and loyal pup for an active family that understands her need for trust. She would do well in the country, suburbs and city environment.
