Mochi is a toy poodle who was imported from Europe when he was just 16 weeks old. He came from a world famous show kennel, and his pedigree is nothing short of incredible. Both of his parents are champions, and it really shows in him. His mother, “Elegant Beauty” (pictured in the gallery), earned an impressive list of titles including CH RUS, JCH RUS, 2 x CH RKF, and CH Eurasia. His father, “Rambutan” (also pictured in the gallery), is equally accomplished, holding the same titles of CH RUS, JCH RUS, 2 x CH RKF, and CH Eurasia. With bloodlines like these, his structure and confirmation are exactly what we look for in a toy poodle. On top of that, he has passed all of the rigorous health testing that I put my dogs through before they become part of our breeding program. Mochi is not only beautiful and healthy, he truly has it all.

Of course, what makes him so special is not just his pedigree but his personality. Mochi is the definition of a love bug. He would happily be carried around and cuddled all day long if he had the choice. He loves to curl up in a lap and drift off to sleep, soaking up every bit of affection he can get. While he would do well in any home, I can easily see him thriving with an older couple who spends most of their time at home and would enjoy a constant little companion to snuggle on the couch with. His calm, sweet, and docile nature, combined with his love for closeness, would even make him an amazing candidate for therapy work. He is more than content to sit quietly and be loved for hours, and his adorable looks only make him that much more irresistible.

One of the sweetest things about Mochi is how he leans into people. When you hold him close, he will turn his head sideways into your neck as if he is giving you a hug. He is very affectionate and always shows his love through kisses and the way he melts into your arms.

Mochi has been fully health tested, and his health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.

All in all, Mochi is a very sweet boy with so much love to give. He is calm, gentle, and so easy to be around. I am so excited to share his wonderful personality and his beautiful qualities with families around the world.
