Maple is a Mini Goldendoodle out of Kyla and Sting, and she carries some of the most meaningful lines in my program. Her mother Kyla was the daughter of Clea, a retriever I had when I first started breeding over two decades ago. Clea holds such a special place in my heart, and seeing Maple often feels like déjà vu because she reminds me so much of her grandmother. Kyla’s father, Monty, was an English Retriever I imported from Spain back in 2007. He quickly earned his Canadian Championship before the age of one, and I’m still so proud of the incredible legacy he passed down. On Maple’s father’s side, Sting lived a long, healthy life, remaining with us until this past year when he passed at the remarkable age of 17. Longevity runs strong in her lines, and Maple’s pedigree is filled with dogs like Kyla, Clea, Monty, and Sting. These dogs have given me nearly 20 years of cherished memories and generations of outstanding litters.

As special as her lineage is, Maple herself is truly one of a kind. The words that come to mind when I think of her are kind, sweet, loving, and gentle. She has such a caring soul and a natural way of making everyone around her feel special. Maple is happiest when she’s snuggled up close, giving kisses, or curled into a lap for hours while enjoying gentle pets. She’s the type of dog who just melts into you, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with her calm, affectionate presence.

Around the kennel, Maple is a socialite. She gets along with absolutely everyone, dogs and people alike. My staff adore her because she’s easy, fun, and such a joy to be around. She has a quiet nature, and it’s rare to hear her bark. On our trail walks, she’s the kind of dog who always stays close, never straying far, and keeping us in her sight the whole way. That devotion makes her a dog who is not only wonderful to live with but one who would excel as a therapy dog. She has an intuitive, gentle energy that naturally comforts and connects with people.

What I love most about Maple is how versatile she is. Her easygoing personality would allow her to thrive in just about any type of family. Whether you’re active and on the go or prefer a calm, cozy home, Maple has the ability to adapt and fit right in. To me, she truly is the full package: a dog with an A++ temperament, stunning looks, and the biggest most loving heart. Her pictures give you a glimpse of her beauty, but it’s her personality that will make anyone fall in love. Maple is everything I could hope for in a dog, and I feel so lucky to have her in my life and in my program.
