Harley
Female - Bernese Mountain Dog
Weight: 90 lbs
Height: 24"
Harley is a playful and strong boned Bernese Mountain Dog, bred and raised at SwissRidge. She is out of Isla and Odin.
There were six female pups in this litter. I am thrilled to share that every sibling passed their health clearances, which is a wonderful testament to the strong and healthy genetics in both their vertical and horizontal pedigrees. If you would like to learn more about these remarkable lines, take a look at Harley’s siblings—Delilah, Storm, Betty, Navy, and Olive.
Harley is bold, affectionate, and active girl. She can show a bit of a stubborn streak, making it very clear when she wants to do something and when she does not. She is loving and affectionate with every person she meets. Harley enjoys exploring her surroundings and she is extremely curious and confident. She adores the company of other dogs, loves playing in the yard, and thrives on off leash pack walks through the forest.
Harley is a very happy, friendly dog. Her tail never stops wagging. She absolutely LOVES people. We call her ‘the cuddler’ because she always wants to have some part of her body touching us. She comes leaping up and gives a good hip check when she is ready to settle. When she greets us, she wants to jump up for a hug.
Harley loves squeaky toys, but instead of chewing them to make them squeak, she pokes them with her nose like a woodpecker, which we find hilarious.
She loves the winter and snow, as most Bernese do. The summer heat is not her favorite, but she will happily endure it if it means being outside with her people. On hot days, you can often find her stretched out on top of the air conditioning vent.
Harley has been fully health tested, and her health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
